1978 Volkswagen Beetle
Designed by Ferdinand Porsche in 1938, the VW Beetle was built to fill a need for a “People’s Car” in Germany. It was officially named the Type 1, and informally in German, the Käfer, which literally translates to "beetle". This little city car marked the genesis of automotive-juggernaut Volkswagen. The build quality, design, and philosophies from VW’s early days are still reflected in today’s models.
This particular 1978 Beetle still has the original window stickers and was held onto by Danny when he first started selling Volkswagens in Huntington Beach.
